Measures Tree

The measures tree displays the data model's measures. From here, you can not only add measures to the query; you can also add a metadata overlay to measures by editing their properties.

Measure Properties

Measure properties can be edited to create a metadata overlay that is used to display an alternative measure caption, format string, and/ or label formats. For non-admin users, these overlays are visible only to the current user; non-admins cannot edit measure properties for other users or roles.

Measure Properties by Role

While non-admin users can only edit measure properties for themselves, Admins can assign these overlays to specified user roles.
